We buy, develop and sell a limited number of residential properties in prime locations. Each project begins with identifying the inherent qualities of the building.
From there, complete living environments are created — shaped through material, light and proportion.
Our focus is a fusion of Nordic principles and carefully selected influences, centred on simplicity, materiality and natural elements.All projects are developed and designed in-house, ensuring a consistent and controlled process. The homes are delivered fully equipped — including materials, furniture, lighting and curated art — ready to live in.
Light
Light is central to how each space is experienced. We balance natural and artificial light to create environments that shift subtly throughout the day, where lighting becomes part of the overall expression of the space.
Materials
Materials are selected for how they age and how they feel in use. We work with solid wood, natural stone and selected materials, sourced from carefully chosen suppliers. Combined with precision, they form a coherent and refined whole, avoiding surfaces that are purely decorative or short-lived.
Windows & Acoustics
All our homes are defined by a sense of calm, allowing each space to feel set apart from the surrounding city. High-quality window solutions ensure a quiet interior, while their proportions and detailing are carefully integrated into the architecture, contributing to a sense of clarity, lightness and precision.
Technology
Technology is thoughtfully integrated to support comfort and longevity. Lighting is designed with dimmer systems, allowing the atmosphere to adapt throughout the day, while heating elements are selected with the same attention to detail — considered both for performance and as part of the architectural expression.
Custom Design
Key design elements are developed specifically for Nordic Standard’s projects. Kitchens, storage and bespoke furniture are created in collaboration with selected partners, ensuring consistency in material, proportion and expression.
Details
Details are treated as an integral part of the overall composition. We collaborate with leading Nordic and international designers and suppliers, selecting elements that combine function and form, and contribute to a coherent and refined expression throughout the space.
Art
Art is an integral part of each project. A curated selection of works by established and emerging artists is developed for each home, creating a clear thread throughout the space and reinforcing the overall composition.
The building’s architectural expression is a starting point for the selection of works and artists.
Quality & Warranty
All properties are delivered as complete and fully equipped homes. Materials, furniture, lighting and curated art are integrated as part of a cohesive whole, ready to live in. All installations and technical systems are developed to a high and consistent standard. A two-year warranty is provided, covering electrical systems, heating, ventilation and plumbing.
Selected projects are developed in collaboration with private investors.
To make each property unique and special we are really focused on design & only choose the best brands, many of them with award winning products: Pholc, SMEG, &Tradition and AYTM, to name a few.
Clients can expect equipment of highest quality: regulated lighting, regulated showers including rain forest rain or massage, best quality of wooden floor, regulated temperature zones and detail oriented work execution.
